Here’s the full recipe for Chocolate Peanut Pudding:
Ingredients:
- 1 egg
- A pinch of salt
- 50g sugar
- 10g vanilla sugar
- 20g flour
- 20g cornstarch
- 500ml milk
- 50-60g butter
- 300g chocolate biscuits
- 180g milk chocolate
- 90g 33-36% cream
- 90g ground peanuts
Instructions:
In a bowl, beat the egg with a pinch of salt until well mixed.
Add the sugar and vanilla sugar to the beaten egg, and mix until the mixture is smooth.
Gradually incorporate the flour and cornstarch into the egg and sugar mixture, mixing until smooth.
In a saucepan, gradually pour the milk over the egg and flour mixture, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
Cook the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly until it thickens and reaches the consistency of pastry cream. This will take about 5 to 7 minutes. Remove the saucepan from the heat.
Add the butter to the hot pastry cream and stir until completely melted.
Crumble the chocolate biscuits and spread them evenly on the bottom of a serving dish or pudding mold.
Pour half of the hot pastry cream over the chocolate biscuits in the dish.
In a saucepan, melt the milk chocolate with the cream over low heat, stirring constantly until the mixture is smooth and homogeneous.
Pour half of the melted chocolate over the first layer of pastry cream in the dish.
Sprinkle the ground peanuts evenly over the layer of melted chocolate.
Repeat the layers by adding the remaining chocolate biscuits, pastry cream, and melted chocolate.
Refrigerate the pudding until completely set, usually for at least 2 hours.
Once set, serve the Chocolate Peanut Pudding chilled and enjoy this delicious treat!
Bon appétit!
