Ingredients:
- 2 cups of fat-free Greek yogurt
- 2 scoops of your favorite protein powder (make sure it’s Slimming friendly)
- 1-2 tablespoons of sweetener (optional, adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- A handful of mixed berries or other desired toppings
Instructions:
- In a bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, protein powder, sweetener (if using), and vanilla extract. Mix well until all the ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- Line a baking sheet or tray with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
- Pour the yogurt mixture onto the lined tray and spread it out evenly with a spatula. Aim for a thickness of about 1/4 to 1/2 inch.
- Sprinkle the mixed berries or other desired toppings over the yogurt mixture, gently pressing them down into the surface.
- Place the tray in the freezer and allow it to freeze for at least 2-3 hours, or until the bark is completely firm.
- Once the bark is frozen, remove it from the freezer and break it into pieces of your desired size.
- Store the frozen protein yogurt bark in an airtight container or freezer bag in the freezer until you’re ready to enjoy it.
You can have a piece or two of the frozen protein yogurt bark as a satisfying and healthier alternative to a bar of chocolate when you have evening munchies. Just be mindful of portion sizes to ensure it fits within your Slimming plan.
